Today I passed the Red Hat Identity Management exa, EX362, with the score of 233/300.

The material used to prepare for the exam is the RH362 online course, provided Red Hat. At first I wasn’t sure if I should use of the 5 exam credits (as part of one-year training subscription), but it turned out that IdM/FreeIPA is useful and fun to learn.

Here are some tips for this exam:

  • Read the question carefully
  • Try to jump between questions: e.g. installing required software on a server
  • Though some documents are provides, you are likely to not have any time to read them
  • It was fun. Always practice the exam objectives provided by Red Hat

With this passing of EX362, my RHCA has been bumped to Level 2. I still have 2 more exam credits left. Let’s see if I could get go up to Level 4.
