On Saturday, I spent the whole day assembling a new desktop computer. This new computer is to run Windows (7) operating system. You read it correctly, I'm going to run Windows computer at home (after 3 years of its absence.)
While putting components together, I felt thirsty and it was a perfect time to drink this fine Australia beer -- Coopers. It contains 5.8% of alcohol per volume. This ale really does surprised me, it tastes quite good.
I think I've found the replacement of my favorite Australian beer.

Out of focus photos aren't always bad
8.23.2009

If you've visited this blog in the past, you may have come across some photos of the girl in this picture. In some photos she posed normally, and very strangely in some other times. Her name is Yoko (塚本 陽子), a friend I met in Sydney almost a year ago. She is here under work holiday visa program which entitles her to stay in Australia for one year. She's due to return to Japan in September.
Last Thursday we visited the Opera House at night time, and thank to a passed-by tourist who offered to take a photo for us. I normally don't keep out-of-focus pictures. So when I was about to delete it, Yoko stopped and said to me: "Tora, the picture is not clear, but the memory is what matters." I nodded and replied: "Alright, I'll keep it."

Sashimi don - oishii
8.09.2009

Today, while digging into my old external drive, I saw a few interesting photos taken during my trip to Japan last year.
This one was taken at a restaurant located in Asakusa. The meal I had, shown in the photo, was something-sashimi don. It's basically raw fish on rice. It was so delicious. Eating is probably one of many things which makes me feel wanna go visit there again.

Tui - Awesome Kiwi Beer
8.08.2009

This is a New Zealand beer which I never tried while I was living there. It has 4% alcohol and probably is one of my favorites.

Post Dinner Drinking
8.02.2009

After having dinner at Chatthai, we went to a bar called C bar at the Chamberlain Hotel, around the corner for the drink. Actually, this wasn't the first time we went to the same bar that night. When we were walking from the office to the restaurant; Steve, the 3rd bloke from the right, dragged us into this bar and bought us some drinks.
Well, as already stated in the previous post, I really had a good time. It was the first time that I had so much drinks -- over 7 glasses of bourbon and still managed to get home without taking a cab.

How old am I now? - Count the candle!
8.01.2009

On last Friday 24th, friends at work organized a dinner at Chatthai restaurant for my birthday. It was very nice of them.
Thanks to Aimee, a pretty lady in black top, for the muffin.
